​​Kevin Mohammed is the founder and owner of Konstructure, LLC, established in 2010. A proud resident of Washington, D.C. for over 25 years, Kevin immigrated to the US to attend the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Kevin began his career in human resources at the Newseum in downtown D.C., but it was an earlier role—bartending—that unexpectedly sparked his interest in construction. Fascinated by the inner workings behind the bar, he developed a passion for understanding how things come together—an instinct that naturally extended to the built environment. Since 2007, Kevin has been actively involved in the D.C. construction industry, where he brings a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to every project.

What Kevin enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to see D.C. from the inside out—learning about its neighborhoods, infrastructure, and people through the diverse projects and partners he engages with. A devoted fan of local sports, Kevin especially loves cheering on the Washington Commanders. When he’s not on a job site, you’ll likely find him rooting for D.C.’s teams, celebrating both the city’s progress and its plays.
